Order Process Flow
This order process is created when a customer completes the checkout process. Once an order is created, the system determines the most efficient fulfillment method based on customized business rules.
Order
This order process represents one or more items in an order that need to be picked and packed for the customer. A fulfillment is assigned to a location based on the customized fulfillment rules and the available inventory. If more than one location is used to fulfill an order, multiple fulfillments will be created against the order.
Fulfillment
This order process is created when fulfillment is fulfilled, or when a dispatch occurs. The article represents the physical parcel that transports customer order items to the final destination address. A fulfillment may have more than one article assigned to it.
Article
This order process is created when an article is processed. There is only ever one consignment per article.
