on a Map? | 1. This simply requires you too look for the Highest Contour Distance, and then seeing if the Lines curve Away from that Point
2. Aretes can be Found if you have already located a Pyramidal Peak, or simply finding a Very Thin Hill, with very Tightly Packed Contours
3. A Corrie would also have Tightly Packed Contours, in a U Shaped almost, and the Tan is simply a Lake, Easy. |

-Glacial Troughs
-Ribbon Lakes
on a Map? | -Glacial Troughs, remember, are Flat Valleys with really Steep Sides.
-There is Virtually no Contour Lines in the Valley, another Hint to Find it
-Also, a River that Runs down the Valley that looks Really Small is yet again Another Hint that its a Glacial Trough
-For a Ribbon Lake, then when you have Identified a Glacial Trough, then finding a Lake is quite Easy; its Blue |
