RETROSPECTIVE DUR
CONDUCTED at the time the prescription is dispensed via ELECTRONIC CLAIMS ADJUNCTION SYSTEM. Patient’s medication records are reviewed during the dispensing process to determine whether the prescriptions are appropriate.
PROSPECTIVE DUR
For each drug, the committee should CONSIDER PROBLEMS identified in the PAST, and PROBLEMS WITH THE MOST SERIOUS CLINICAL AND FINANCIAL CONSEQUENCES.
Monitoring Drug Utilization Review
