Glucose mainly in transported to the cell which starts oxidation in cytosol and terminated in the mitochondria, oxidation is in two steps: glycoslysis and Krebs cycle AKA tricarboxylic acid cycle and cytric acid cycle. first one occurs in cytosol while others occur in mitochondrial matrix.
