The Calvin takes place in the chloroplast stroma. This is the last step of photosynthesis where ATP and NADPH, generated during the photochemical reactions, are used to fix and to reduce carbon dioxide in the synthesis of simple sugars. The cycle takes place in three steps Dark phase.
