Proteins found in the stomach, pancreas and small intestine are broken down by protease enzymes and when digested protease enzymes convert protein to individual amino acids which are then absorbed into the bloodstream When the same amino acids in proteins are absorbed into body cells; they’re joined in a different order in their chain to make human proteins
