Question:

What happens in coronary heart disease?

Author: Alana Ray

Answer:

In coronary heart disease layers of fatty material build up outside the coronary arteries so the arteries narrow and the blood flow is reduced in the coronary arteries which result in a lack of oxygen for the heart muscle In extreme cases this lack of oxygen can result in a heart attack where the heart is starved of oxygen
