Beta-agonist. relative lipophilicity of 3200 (longer chain gives lonmger duration). twice a day to prevent symptoms. only recommended to be given in combination with glucocorticoids. it doesn't dissociate from the agonist binding site rapidly so will continously activate (has a catechol-like end that binds to the site).
