Question:

Explain how the Electric Motor works

Author: eric_galvao

Answer:

-So, since the Coil in there has the Current moving in Opposite Directions in the 2 Sides, and that its Perpendicular to the Magnetic Field, the 2 Sides will have a Force, that is Opposite to each other -Since the Coil is on a Spindle, the Coil can Rotate. -The Electric Motor also has a Split-Ring commutator, which just allows the Motor to rotate in the Same Direction, by Swapping the Contacts every Half-turn -This Direction can change. The Poles can be swapped around, and the Current can also change Direction.
