Question:

How can you make a Ray Diagram for an Image, with a Concave Lens?

Author: eric_galvao

Answer:

-First, Pick a Point from from the Top of the Object, and draw a Ray that is going to the Lens from the Point, that is Parallel to the Axis -Then, draw another Ray from the Top of the Object that cuts through the Middle of the Lens -The First Ray [Parallel] is Refracted, so it looks to come from the Principal Focus, so then draw a 'Ray' from the PF to the Refracted Parallel Ray [Make it Dotted as because its Virtual] -When the 'Ray' and also the Ray that came from the Top of the Object that cuts through the Middle meet, you have found the Top of the Image
