Question:

How can you Measure or Estimate the: 1. Abundance of an Organism? 2. Distribution of an Organism?

Author: eric_galvao

Answer:

1. Abundance requires just Counting the Number of Individuals - or a Percentage Cover - in Samples. Results have to be Scaled up to be True for the Population 2. Distribution can be Measured by using 2 Sample Areas and see the Contrast, or using a Transect [A Line] and having Sample Areas connected with the Transect.
