How did Prophet Muhammed demonstrate great leadership?

Muslims believe they should not ignore the authority of the Hadith because Muhammed was considered the greatest leader. As Prophet Muhammed said in the hadith, “the leader of a people is their servant”, which infers he possessed the attributes of integrity, moral authority, and humility; that made him a greater leader. Muhammed humbled himself by personally building mosques to partake in the digging of the battle of the Trench, putting God before pride; influencing Muslims to do the same.
