To bisect an angle place your compass on the corner where the lines AB and BC meet and draw an arc that looks like an angle and passes through lines AB and BC, place your compass on the point where the arc meets line AB and draw a smaller arc, then repeat this step on line BC so the smaller arcs intersect and lastly draw a line that intersects the angle ABC and the smaller arcs
