How to distinguish secreting vs. non-secreting adrenal masses?

Majority are non-secreting (90%), we distinguish by seeing Subclinical Cushing's, pheochromocytoma (increased catecholamines), and hyperaldosteronism (but not usually seen only with HTN or hypokalemia)
