What is the monoamine oxidase enzyme?

Mitochondrial non-CYP oxidase, oxidizes amine containing products like catecholamines, xenobiotics, drugs. AKA MAO enzyme, acts on epi, NE, serotonin (MAO-A) and phenylalanine (MAO-B) and converts them into an aldehyde + ammonia.
