Author: H K

Answer:

Isoniazid (INH) chemotherapy tx of TB, primary step of its metabolism is acetylation by (NAT2) forming acetyl-INH. So we have fast acetylators and slow ones which will affect the half life of the drugs, causing higher risk of drug toxicity for slow acetylators due to higher half-lifes.
