Question:

What are the 5 steps of DNA ligase (4-5)?

Author: fahr dat

Answer:

-> Step 4: Through transformation, recombinant plasmids enter bacterial cells. And as bacteria divide, billions of copies of recombinant plasmids are made. Some of these bacteria will make insulin –>Step 5: Process called hybridization is used to identify bacterial colonies that produce insulin. These colonies will then later be isolated and given optimal conditions required for the mass production of insulin. -> Hybridization requires DNA colonies to be antibiotic resistant.
