What is the relation between age and cancer?

Cancer frequency increases w/age in general, most occur age 55-75, explained by accumulation of somatic mutations leading to malignant neoplasms, and decline of immunity. Although responsible for death of 10% children <15 years, major lethal ones are leukemias, CNS, lymphomas, soft tissue and bone sarcomas
