What is dysplasia?

Abnormal organization of cells resulting in abnormal histogenesis, Pathogenesis (renal dysplasia by abnormal metanephric differentiation reflect multiple genetic and somatic causes, we see undifferentiated tubules and ducts lined by cuboidal/ columnar epithelium, surrounded by mantels of mesenchyma, some muscles and collagen, we see rudimentary glomeruli and ducts cytically dilated, may be unilateral or bilateral, and kidney may have multiple cysts)
