Question:

How is morphology of tissues under effect of shock?

Author: H K

Answer:

Effects of hypoxic lesions, most common affected brain, heart, kidney, adrenals, GI. We could see fibrin thrombus in any tissue, but more likely in renal glomeruli, we see lipid depletion in adrenal cortex due to increased steroid synthesis, sepsis or trauma in lungs can lead to diffuse alveolar damage causing shock lungs, affected tissues can recover completely if pt survives exception of neurons and cardiomyocytic loss.
