Aldosterone normally adds sodium channels to principal cells in the collecting duct of the nephron, but the Aldosterone antagonists block the aldosterone receptors and therefore preventing the reabsorption of sodium and water and prevents therefore K+ and H+ secretion. Spironolactone=Aldactone
