Question:

Why do we descend the testicle in cryptorchidism and not remove it?

Author: H K

Answer:

Since it is providing the testosterone. Sometimes the cord is short. However, if the cord is long, I can get it down to the scrotum. The short one might reach the external ring. It is acceptable since I can palpate. But if we couldn’t descend it
