These seizures exhibit complex sensory hallucinations and mental distortion. Motor dysfunction may involve chewing movements, diarrhea, and/or urination. Consciousness is altered. Simple partial seizure activity may spread to become complex and then spread to a secondary generalized convulsion. Complex partial seizures may occur at any age
