Question:

Physiologic and Essential Tremor alleviating

Author: Suzuki

Answer:

Beta blockers should be used with caution in patients with heart failure, asthma, diabetes, or hypoglycemia. Metoprolol, a β1-selective antagonist, is also effective, and its use is preferred in patients with concomitant pulmonary disease. Antiepileptic drugs including gabapentin, primidone, and topiramate, as well as intramuscular injection of botulinum toxin, have also been used to treat essential tremor.
