Resurrection is the concept of coming back to life after death.

What was the miraculous draught of fishes?
After the resurrection, Jesus appears to the disciples by the sea of Galilee and knows mysteriously where all the fish are. It is unclear how he got there or how he was able to prepare a breakfast for them.
What did Jesus do to Peter? (John 21:15-23
Jesus commissions Peter to shepherd his people. Jesus asks the disciple peter about his love for him three times. Each time he responds he receives the command to 'feed my lamb', 'tend my sheep'
Why was Peter asked three times?
It is believed to mirror the amount of times peter denied Jesus before his execution.
What happens to John's testimony?
John's testimony is confirmed. The author of John is known as the 'beloved disciple'. This is often used to describe John, but can also be seen as a place holder for the reader. It is not sure that he wrote this book.
What does Paul say in 1 Cor 15:1-8?
The resurrection is an objective fact. He believes he experienced the risen christ for himself on his way to Damascus.

When Jesus raised individuals to life he resuscitated them. They are restored in their original bodies

Luke 8:49 -56 - Jairus' daughter is pronounced dead but Jesus heals her and restores her to life.

He believes we should demythologise scripture
What things are considered myths to Bultmann?
The virgin birth, resurrection of Jesus Christ and miraculous healings.

He believes they are part of a metaphysical view of the universe which is no longer relevant
What does he believe about the New Testament?
We need to demythologise the new testament to get to the main message
What is N.T Wright's opinion on the resurrection?
The resurrection happened and there must have been a good reason for the early christians to believe Jesus was the Messiah.
What is N.T Wright's view on the development of Christianity?
Christianity developed because those around Jesus saw evidence that convinced them that Jesus was bodily raised from the dead.
1 Corinthians 15: 12-14?
