What is personality (situational factors)

An individual may have a personality that makes them more or less likely to intervene in emergencies. Someone may have Internal Local Control, meaning that they think they can make a difference in a situation, resulting in them helping. In contrast someone may have External Local Control which means they will most likely pass the responsibility to someone else.
