Question:

What is: 1. Abrasion 2. Plucking 3. Freeze Thaw

Author: eric_galvao

Answer:

1. This is like in Rivers; Rocks are Scraping below the Glacier. Rock is Worn Away 2. Melt-Water is Frozen on the Rock, and as the Glacier moves, bits of the Rock is 'Plucked' Away 3. Water gets its way into the Cracks of Rocks, which is then Frozen in it. This would Expand and then Freeze which makes the Rock have more Pressure. Said Pressure is then Released when the Ice Thaws. Repeating this Process will make the Rock Weaker
