Why do Muslims believe about being buried and cremated?

Muslims believe that their bodies should be untouched and treated with the utmost respect in Akhirah because only Allah knows what is best for them. Although some Muslims believe cremation is acceptable as Allah has the ability to make the cremated body whole again even when there are no physical remains.
