Question:
Why can Photosynthesis be the Basis of All Life on Earth?
Author: eric_galvaoAnswer:
-Plants use the Suns, or another Source that gives out Light, to make Glucose -This Glucose is used to Develop the Plant's Ability to Grow - adding onto the Biomass of the Organism -Energy is then Stored in the Biomass, that is Consumed through the Food Chain [Primary Consumer then to Secondary Consumer...] -So no Photosynthesis means no Biomass for the Primary Consumers to Feed on, which will Eventually Knock on to Us.
