Question:

How can Radiation affect the Earth's Temperature?

Author: eric_galvao

Answer:

-Sun Emits EM Radiation, like UV, IR, and VI [Visible Light] -Some of it will either Reflect, be Absorbed or be Transmitted through the Atmosphere. -And then the Earth may Re-Emit some Radiation, or Reflect it back towards the Atmosphere [Greenhouse Gases] - which will also either Re-Emit, be Transmitted or Absorbed. This will keep Earth Warm. -So it all Depends on how much is Reflected, Absorbed or Emitted.
