-Sonar uses Sound Waves to find out the Distance of 2 Points -Sound Waves are Sent and Tracked by a Transmitter and a Receiver. -When the Sound Waves has Hit the Boundary, they will go Back towards the Boat. -And Timing how long it Takes for the Wave to Come Back will give you the Distance [Distance = Speed x Time]
