How can Ethene be used in Transporting food?

-Ethen will make the Fruit want to Ripen. Fact -But Fruit is first picked Unripe so that its Hard - meaning it will not be Damaged during Transport or Storage -Ethene then Applied to make it Soft for me and you :)
