• Most common form of NHL • Tissue architecture is is partially or totally effaced by medium-to-large sized lymphoid cells • Large cell defined as having nucleus the same size or larger than a macrophage nucleus, or more than twice the size of a small lymphocyte nucleus • Mature B cell phenotype • Cytological features are diverse – Centroblastic – Immunoblastic – Anaplastic • t(14:18) in 25% of cases (40% in GCB-like DLBCL)
