Wind breaks

A wind barrier, either made from living vegetation or an artificial screen with gaps, helps reduce wind erosion. Solid walls can increase wind speed and create eddy currents that lift soil particles, while natural vegetation allows some wind through but lowers wind speed, reducing erosion.
