Art movement?

As artists began to experiment with -new styles- and -techniques-, they tend to gather in groups to talk about their ideas. -Artists with similar aims- sometimes formed a movement. Apart from creating a sense of solidarity and confidence, the -movements- gave them authority; groups of artists tended to be taken more seriously than individuals.
